Anderson Composites Type-OE Double-Sided Carbon Fiber Hood – 2024 - 2026 Mustang

The Anderson Composites Type-OE Double-Sided Carbon Fiber Hood brings factory styling and high-end materials together for the 2024 Mustang. Built using a vacuum-infused process with 3K, 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth, this hood delivers consistent weave, high rigidity, and reduced weight — all while maintaining the OEM lines Mustang owners appreciate.

Unlike single-sided options, this version features carbon fiber on both the top and underside. The inner "skeleton" is also carbon fiber, bonded underneath for structural support without unnecessary bulk. A marine-grade gel coat with UV inhibitors is polished in to boost the gloss finish and resist sun damage over time.

It mounts using OE hardware (not included), hinges, and latch points, although some minor adjustment may be required during installation — par for the course with aftermarket carbon. The hood vent isn’t included, so you'll reuse the stock one or swap in an aftermarket option.

A heat shield is required for safe and proper use.
Always close composite hoods gently. Slamming or dropping the hood can result in cracking and is not covered under warranty.
Do not reinstall gas shocks, dampers, or struts. Anderson Composites does not recommend their use with composite hoods.
We strongly recommend using a hood prop rod to safely support the hood when open.
